These events help support our mission as a professional not-for-profit arts organization as well as our Education & Outreach programs in the community.

American Musical Theatre of San Jose’s Spring Gala

An elegant evening of exceptional dining
and entertainment supporting AMTSJ’s
Artistic, Education and Outreach Programming.
Celebrate the best in musical theatre with a champagne reception and raffle, delectable dining, and live auction topped off with an exciting performance of Broadway’s best, headlined by recording artist Christiane Noll (Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors) whose credits include the original Broadway musical production of Jekyll and Hyde and singing with symphonies across the country. Ms. Noll will be joined by other AMTSJ favorites Diana DeGarmo (Maria, West Side Story) Noel Anthony (Benny Southstreet, Guys and Dolls), Aaron Ramey (Tony, West Side Story) and Kari Yancy (Dorothy, The Wizard of Oz).

Leading ($3,000) includes priority seating for 10 with an AMTSJ artist at your table and 2 complimentary tickets to each AMTSJ produced 2008/2009 season production.
Spotlight ($2,000) includes seating for 10 and 2 complimentary tickets to one AMTSJ produced 2008/2009 season production.
Ticket price $200.

the theatre.

Calendar of Donor Events for 2007/2008
Enrich your theatre experience at special events throughout the season! As a supporter of the Theatre, you receive invitations to a number of events, based on your level of giving. From having breakfast on stage at the CPA to artist receptions, you will have the opportunity to meet other friends of the theatre and experience the behind-the-scenes making of a theatrical production.

- Annual Dinner: Dine with our Board of Directors in June 2008 when we’ll celebrate the 2007/2008 season and hear breaking news about our 2008/2009 casts and creative teams.
- Dinner with the Artists: Meet the emcee and his cast of players before the opening night of Cabaret.
- Breakfast on the Stage: Gaze out on all 2,540 seats of the Center for the Performing Arts while enjoying breakfast and behind-the-scenes anecdotes.
- Donor Tech Party: Spend an evening at Little Shop of Horrors and Disney's Beauty and the Beast and experience the technical process as the cast, crew and design team bring a musical to our main stage.
- “Sit and Sing”: The “sitzprobe” is the most magical night in the creative process. Join us to hear the cast and the orchestra come together for the first time as they bring a musical to life.
- Theatre Arts Conservatory Final Workshop: Fifty students spend a summer at our studios learning all aspects of performing from professional artists, which concludes in a final workshop presentation. See the stars of tomorrow in August 2008.
