280 Southbound (from San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Stanford)

  1. Take 280 South to the Vine Street/Almaden Boulevard exit
  2. Turn left on Almaden Boulevard
  3. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the left before Park Avenue

101 Southbound (from San Francisco, Burlingame, Palo Alto)

  1. Take 101 South to the Guadalupe Parkway 87 exit
  2. Continue on Guadalupe Parkway 87
  3. Take Park Avenue/San Carlos Street exit, turn left
  4. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the right before Almaden Boulevard

Guadalupe Parkway 87 Southbound (from the San Jose International Airport)

  1. Take Park Avenue/San Carlos Street exit, turn left
  2. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the right before Almaden Boulevard

880 Southbound (from Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward, Fremont)

  1. Take 17/880 South to the Coleman Avenue exit
  2. Turn left on Coleman Avenue and continue on Coleman Avenue
  3. Coleman Avenue becomes Market Street after 87
  4. Turn right on Park Avenue
  5. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the left at Almaden Boulevard

680 Southbound (from Sacramento, Walnut Creek, Livermore, Milpitas)

  1. Take 680 South until it becomes 280 North at the 101 interchange
  2. Take the Bird Avenue exit, turn right
  3. Turn right on San Carlos Street
  4. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the left before Park Avenue

101 Northbound (from Gilroy, Los Angeles)

  1. Take 101 North toward San Francisco
  2. Take the 85 North exit
  3. Take Guadalupe Parkway 87 North exit towards downtown San Jose
  4. Take the San Carlos Street/Auzerais Avenue exit
  5. Turn left on Woz Way
  6. Turn right on San Carlos Street
  7. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the left before Park Avenue

17 Northbound (from Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Campbell)

  1. Take 17 North to Downtown San Jose/280 South exit
  2. Take 280 South to the Vine Street/Almaden Boulevard exit
  3. Turn left on Almaden Boulevard
  4. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the left before Park Avenue

Guadalupe Parkway 87 Northbound (from 85 Northbound)

  1. Take Guadalupe Parkway 87 North exit towards downtown San Jose
  2. Take the San Carlos Street/Auzerais Avenue exit
  3. Turn left on Woz Way
  4. Turn right on San Carlos Street
  5. Center for the Performing Arts front entrance will be on the left before Almaden Boulevard

BART can take you to Fremont, where you can catch buses to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts:

  1. At the Fremont BART station, take Express Bus Route 180 to 2nd & Santa Clara.
  2. Transfer on to Bus Route 23 to the Center.

Caltrain offers service between San Jose and San Francisco.

  1. Take the train to the Tamien Station and transfer to the Light Rail northbound.
  2. Exit the Light Rail at the Convention Center stop.

Downtown Area Shuttle (DASH)

DASH is a free shuttle service in downtown San Jose. Minibuses operate weekdays from 6:15 a.m. through 6:55 p.m., providing downtown with a direct connection to the San Jose Diridon Station, Light Rail Stations and San Jose State University.

Parking near the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts

The Center for the Performing Arts is a short walk from the San Jose McEnery Convention Center parking garage. The garage entrances are located on Almaden Boulevard and Market Street. See map for other nearby parking locations.

There are more than 21,000 parking spaces in downtown San Jose. Downtown development causes changes in parking sites. The SJ Downtown Parking website has the most up-to-date parking information, including free parking, validation programs, disabled access, public transportation and the DASH shuttle.
