Since its birth in 1977 as a cutting-edge jazz venue, Eulipia has been a San Jose landmark. The owners were inspired by the saxophone artistry of Rahsaan Roland Kirk in his tune "Theme for the Eulipians", and chose the name to represent a sense of musical euphoria. They continue the tradition now as one of the Bay Area's most exciting and innovative restaurants. Eulipia is located in a historic brick building in the heart of the SoFA district, downtown San Jose's premier dining, arts, theatre and nightclub area. |
